The camp started with some water fun on the Friday evening – the sun was out and so was the water slide – the Cubs had a great time !! Eventually everyone settled down for a good nights sleep to prepare for a Saturday full of activities.
The activities included shooting, traversing wall, archery, assault course, pedal karts, slack lines, caving, blind trail, a climbing wall, inflatable assault course and inflatable volley ball. The highlight of the weekend was the laser shoot inflatable and the camp fire on the Saturday evening.
On Sunday the packs took part in a series of 10 minutes challenges all undertaken in the pouring rain………. but in true scouting style this did not dampen the spirits of the Cubs!
The Cubs went home a bit wet and soggy but with some great memories and lots of new friends. It was a wonderful scouting experience and a memorable way of celebrating 100 years of Cub Scouting. A special thank you to all the leaders and helpers who made this camp possible.
