Beaver Scouts (6-8)

Beaver Scouts (6-8)

Beaver Scouts are our youngest members.

They usually meet weekly and enjoy Fun and Friendship! They get to enjoy all that Scouting has to offer, outdoor activities, exploring their local community, being creating and making something.

During their time in Beavers they will get a chance to try a range of different activities as well as going on trips, days out, sleepovers and evening camping. It may be the first time they spend a night away from home so it’s a real adventure for them.

There are a range of awards and badges available to earn from the Experiments Badge, Navigator, Musician or Cook…whatever they are interested in we’ve probably got a badge for it!

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
