Our local District Scout Shop is a small volunteer run shop registered with the national Scout Shop where we are able to provide parents and leaders with uniform, badges and other items.
By buying items through our Scout shop, our local groups are able to get a rebate back on any purchases refunded back to the groups.

Orders can be made by group leaders – for Badges, Neckerchiefs, Woggles, via email and in advance of any visit to the scout shop so we can order them in ready. We can sometimes make arrangements to deliver items to leaders.
Uniform can be purchased by the group, or by parents by visiting and purchasing at the Scout Shop.
If your group has a significant number of members needing a supply of uniform, it is possible for the Scout Shop volunteers to arrange a visit to your group on an evening to run a bulk uniform sales event. The shop has a mobile card reader. In such situations is it recommended that the Group has forwarded a general list of items and sizes to ensure enough stock is brought along to the visit. All sales made at an HQ visit would be applicable for the 10% rebate.
Some Groups maintain a Uniform Box at their HQ, supplied by the District Scout Shop The box typically has 3 of each of the most common sizes for each section and is designed to allow convenient access to uniform items. The introduction of a Uniform Box is agreed with the Group and comes with a commitment by the Group to have an effective management and payment scheme. Once per term or half-term the District would re-supply the Group and collect any cash paid. All sales made through the Uniform Box would be applicable for the 10% rebate.
This service is entirely volunteer lead - we need more people to help continue to offer this service.
